Arts Alliance of Southern Indiana Proudly Presents:
The MiniMaples Literacy Project
Local artist Donna Shaw has collaborated with AASI to provide book themed dioramas for public display to encourage students to read and grow their creativity and imagination!
The GCCS libraries have received a one year lease for ten dioramas and over 30 new donated library books which will circulate through all of the elementary schools throughout the 2022-23 school year. The dioramas and new books feature various fiction and non-fiction topics, and will provide students with fresh and interesting displays to inspire wonder, curiosity, and a love of reading.
Additional Dioramas are currently under construction and will be on display in Floyd and Harrison Counties soon! Stay tuned for additional information.
