Student art Scholarships
The Arts Alliance of Southern Indiana invites graduating high school seniors to apply for several Student Art Scholarships ranging from $500-$2,500 to continue their education at an accredited college, university or similar institution. Applicants will be evaluated in areas including but not limited to 2D Art, 3D Art, Digital Art, Photography, and Literary Arts. Applicants will be judged on artistic merit as well as their potential to add to the cultural voice of our community.
AASI provides scholarships for graduating seniors from high schools in Floyd, Clark, and Harrison County, Indiana. Scholarships are available to those who plan to attend a 2 or 4 year accredited public or private post-secondary College or University, and who have a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate the study of visual arts during high school, with a preference for those successfully completing elective visual arts courses offered as a part of the high school curriculum.
Application and Portfolio - Each applicant will be required to submit an Application and a Statement of Recommendation from a teacher or private instructor in their chosen area of emphasis. The Application and Statement of Recommendation must be received no later than March 12th, 2021.
An applicant may submit only one application but submitted works may be in more than one type of art. All work must be original work created solely by the applicant.
