The fourth concert in our SoIN to Art Concert Series was on August 14th! Even though the weather was cloudy, local band Eight Inch Elvis shined on stage. The venue at Kevin Hammersmith Park was filled with concertgoers eager to hear music from the award-winning band.
Eight Inch Elvis played a mixture of covers of songs like "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol and "Rock This Town" by the Stray Cats and their own original songs like "Rumble" off of their album Viva La Boom for the enthusiastic audience.
Local food cart Fun in a Bun served up hot dogs and drinks and an ice cream truck served sweet treats to concertgoers over the course of the evening.
Mix 106.9 joined the Arts Alliance to provide radio coverage of the event.
